Having a node allows you to use source cli commands to interact with the blockchain. You need to use the source cli to deploy smart contracts or interact with the token factory, but the cli also lets you query blockchain data and is also required to create a validator on top of your node, and so much more. Easily deploy nodes on SOURCE with Cloudmos!
This integration of SOURCE on Akash's Cloudmos allows deployment of nodes in just a few simple clicks.
So what does all this mean for those of us that are not developers?
1. This is a major convenience for developers to be able to start building apps on SOURCE, saving them time, money, and energy.
2. Validator nodes on SOURCE can also use this integration to easily maintane and manage their nodes with web3 and $AKT as payment for computing vs using say Amazon Web Services or some other centralized node hosting provider. This allows for even greater decentralization and anonymity of SOURCE on a much deeper level. This is a very exciting update on the tech side!
PART 2
The efforts of the team's presence at this year's Eth-Denver are already paying off significantly. This update was possible because of our active presence and networking at that event. We also have many more integrations and updates that will are in the works. SOURCE is also now ranked #63 on Osmosis at https://info.osmosis.zone/tokens be sure to turn on "Unverified Assets" in the top right. It was just back in January that we were entering the top 100. It is great to see such quick progress and we will continue to climb the ladder! SRCX has hit over $1,000,000 in liquidity on PancakeSwap!
